The Challenger Learning Center-St. Louis will be introducing two new Earth-themed programs in time for Earth Day at an open house event on April 22nd from 4-6pm. The new offerings include a simulated space mission called Earth Odyssey™ and the Wind Turbine Design Challenge workshop.
The Earth Odyssey™ simulated space mission provides the opportunity for students to take on roles similar to scientists and astronauts who Study Earth’s systems from a vantage point outside of Earth’s atmosphere. The Wind Turbine Design workshop challenges participants to design the most efficient blade that will generate electricity from the wind. This program utilizes the engineering design process to promote creative problem-solving and teamwork.
